Parks & Recreation

Lewes Beach is situated in close proximity to a number of parks, beaches, swimming areas, fishing and camping sites, and miles of biking, hiking, and nature trails. Cape Henlopen State Park and its popular beaches draw thousands of visitors each year for ocean fun and sunbathing. Featuring a modern-day bathhouse replete with changing areas and showers, a picnic area, 18-hole disc golf course, basketball courts, and permit-only hunting areas for the winter, it?s no wonder why many residents and out of town visitors enjoy coming to this state park.
